FREERIDE IN VERBIER
Snowboarding is about feeling good — and nothing beats the feeling of riding fresh powder. That’s why we’re based in Verbier: incredible mountains, great snow and easy access to some of the best freeride terrain in the Alps.
Independent is run by brothers Andre and Roland Sommer, lifelong freeriders who know these mountains inside out. Andre competed professionally, reaching the Freeride World Tour Finals several times, while Roland has always ridden at the same level without taking the competition path. Together with just three carefully chosen Freeride coaches, we keep Independent small and personal, sharing the same quality, experience and spirit with every guest.
We coach and guide every level — from your first turns beyond the slopes to competitive freeride. And if you’re already an experienced rider and simply want to discover the best terrain Verbier has to offer, we’re here for that too.
